The spotlight shone brightest on Dada Samuel Femi, popularly known as SammyCole, whose unforgettable performance earned him First Place. Living with a disability, SammyCole didn’t just take the stage, he owned it. With sharp wit, magnetic presence, and a message that resonated deeply, he proved that limitations are no match for determination.
Joining him on the winners’ podium were Favour Godwin (GF Classic) in Second Place, and Subair Winnie (WinniePoo) in Third Place, both delivering performances that showcased the depth of Nigeria’s comedic talent.
Ebunoluwa Salako, Project Manager at La’Deva, reflected on the night’s impact: This event marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Punchline Lagos Comedy Club, with upcoming themed Open Mic nights scheduled for October 26 (Independence Edition) and December 28 (Santa Edition) where every ticket doubles as a raffle entry, adding a festive twist to the experience.
