The highly anticipated film, recently showcased in an exclusive screening in Lagos, is set to captivate audiences with its profound
narrative and compelling performances.
Directed by the talented Ruben Reng and written by Brenda Ogbuka-Garuba, “Love and Life” is a poignant drama that delves into the intricate dynamics of relationships, the resilience of the human spirit, and the transformative power of friendship and love.
The film features an ensemble cast of some of Nollywood’s most acclaimed actors, including Rita Dominic, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Michelle Dede, Chidi Mokeme, Anthony Monjaro and Ray Adeka, who bring the story’s emotional depth and complexity to life. “Love and Life” is the second release in a 12-film slate scheduled under the First Features initiative, a groundbreaking project aimed at nurturing and empowering the next generation of visionary Nigerian film directors. Founded in 2020 by Dotun Olakunri and Steve Gukas, First Features has significantly contributed to Nollywood, with films like “Cake” and Love and Life” showcasing the richness and diversity of Nigerian storytelling.
